WHAT THE FARM

5429 Morris Neck Road

Virginia Beach, VA 23457

Here at What The Farm, we believe you should know where your food comes from and the farming practices used to produce it. Since 2018, we’ve provided local families with an affordable way to bring home food free of chemicals and hormones.

Using our What The Farm System, we harvest food without pesticides, growth hormones, or GMOs. Our eco-friendly, healthy, and sustainable farming practices benefit both the environment and you, the consumer. Buy regeneratively grown food to build a food system that will save the planet.

All of our farm tours offer a behind-the-scenes look at regenerative farming, mob stocking, and how we serve the SOIL, serve the ANIMALS, and serve the COMMUNITY with our mission. Our goal is to ensure that your trip to our farm is a memorable learning experience to have fun while getting outdoors!

  • Enjoy The Fresh Air In A Screen-free Zone: Increase physical activity to enhance sensory stimulation while connecting with the great outdoors.

  • Learn About Sustainable Agricultural Practices: Protect the earth, which means understanding how vital your role is in producing the food that feeds you, your families, and friends.

  • Understand How Mob Stocking Works: Animals can actually be beneficial to the environment when we move our sheep, pigs, and chickens to a new patch of grass every day.

After walking the farm, seeing and petting the animals we will have prepped and ready for tasting one of our favorite dishes with our farm to table meat.

Fresh meat and produce will also be available for purchase at the What The Farm Store.

Regenerative Agriculture Practices

Our top priority is what's best for the land, animals, and community. Our farming and grazing practices that, among other benefits, reverse climate change by rebuilding soil organic matter and restoring degraded soil biodiversity – resulting in both carbon drawdown and improving the water cycle.

We believe everyone should have a healthy relationship with their food.
