All About Pigs: Truth or Hogwash

Have you ever heard someone describe a dirty room as a “pig-sty”? For decades pigs have gotten a less than clean reputation, but that’s a bunch of hogwash.

In this class we visit the 3 groups of pigs on our farm and debunk many of the common misconceptions about one of the smartest animals on the globe. After some real life interaction with the pigs we will head into our craft area and make a lard and honey lip balm while we continue to discuss the importance of this creature in agriculture.

This class is sure to be a “pig-ture” perfect day!
